goat is a gen alpha term that is actually an acronym. It stands for greatest of all time. If someone thinks ronaldo is a really good player they will say ronaldo is the goat of soccer. If someone disagrees they will say "no messi is the goat". most people don't know it is an acronym and now is used more broad for anyone who is good at something or did something you liked. If you hand them your chips they will say "thanks you the goat man"
